Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area is one of the local agencies that our congregation has supported faithfully for many years. Members have helped with construction projects to build and remodel homes for families in need of safe and affordable housing. We have assisted in fundraisers such as the House of Hope Boards, a Chicken-que, an online auction for the Faith-Build home, and "Fill the Truck" donation events. Volunteers have also helped with Neighbors Day which helps elderly and disabled folks fix up their yards and homes in the spring. Others have volunteered with ReNew which helps to revitalize neighborhoods in La Crosse. Volunteering with Habitat is very rewarding and brings amazing benefits to families in need and our community.
