Middle School

By the time they reach their Middle School years, young people are becoming increasing aware of the world around them, including it’s social pressures. This is a time where we explore what it means to be a Christian in the modern world, with it’s injustices and stresses. Sunday school curriculum is focused on these types of aspects from 6th to 8th grade. Middle School students have the following opportunities to increase thier faith:

 

  • Weekly Sunday School during the school year offered during the 10:00 service
  • Serving the church and community in a variety of ways
  • Middle school youth group, a combination of fun, fellowship, service, faith, and food
  • Middle School Mission Trips, weekend Christian immersion experiences helping others
  • Our Whole Lives,  a faith-based sexuality education program offered every other year for 7th & 8th graders
